Nag Tibba lies at an elevation of 3,048 meters in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas near Mussorie. The hill is also known for Serpentâ€™s Hill as the name Nag Tibba means Nag(snake) and Tibba ( Hill). There is a temple of Nag Devta at the top where the local people or villagers offer prayers to the deity. Nag Tibba range comes under the three popular ranges of the Garhwal, others are the Dhauladhar and the Pir Panjal ranges.
The trek of Nag Tibba Hill offers great panoramic views of Bandarpooch ranges of the Himalayas towards the Yumontri side. The hill of Nag Tibba stands straight at 9,915ft tall in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is considered as an easy trek. The trek starts from a small village Pantwari which is located at an elevation of 4,642ft. It is known as the basecamp for Nag Tibba Trek. You will pass by beautiful mixed forests of oaks, pines, cedar, alpine, and deodars. From the Nag Tibba Basecamp, the trek moves further towards Nag Tibba Top. It will be a 2km hike to reach Nag Tibba top.
