Plastic emulsion paint: Plastic emulsion paint is water-based wall paint. It is based on acrylic and offers a clean matt end to the walls. These paints have won popularity because of their ease of application, quick-drying properties, non-objectionable odour, and good washability.

Cement Based Paints: Cement-based paints are of utmost durability and can be applied to the interior as well as exterior walls. As cement makes the main constituent of the paint, it provides hardness to the surface and can be one of the best options available.

Distemper: Distemper paint is a decorative, water-based paint used in interior as well as exterior wall painting. Distemper consists of constituents such as water, lime, colouring pigments, and chalk. 

Satin & Eggshell Paints:  Satin paints have a silky finish and have some degree of lustre. Satin paints have a slightly higher gloss which makes it more reflective and durable. Unlike satin paints, eggshell paints are less lustrous and less durable.

Matte Paint: Matte paint or colour is the common most type that is used for interior painting. The matte colour is not reflective and shiny, making it ideal for walls and ceilings. This paint can hide the imperfect textures easily but needs a regular touch-up.
