Our Michigan Straight Bourbon whiskey is the signature spirit of our distillery — the purest representation of our passion. We started in 2020 to produce premium spirits with Great Lakes pride and to create a bourbon that Michiganders could call their own.

Varchas has balanced this 4+ year-old bourbon with the aroma of heavy caramel, vanilla and oak. Now move to your mouth and experience the smooth flavor of caramel, vanilla, a little cocoa, and a little smoke. Finish it with a balance of roasted nuts, spice and caramel and you have Varchas Bourbon!

To enhance the flavors, it is perfectly balances the taste of his bourbon with many noticeable notes of bold grain, wood, smoke and the mix of sweet and spice. The Varchas brand will continue to release a series of aged bourbon and rye with a variety of finishes that will make our brand unique.

Our Recipe

Our love to taste and drink exceptional, aged bourbon led us to create our own unique blend. In 2020, we took his passion to the market and Shankar Distillers was born. In his search for the finest bourbon, Varchas selects very few to barrel under the Shankar Distillers’ label. Below are our Bourbon Whiskey recipe which makes our brand unique.
