The Trek Route
The trek starts from Kathmandu. You can either fly or take a bus to Pokhara. From Pokhara, you need to drive to Nayapul and then trek to Ulleri and to Ghorepani. You can trek to Hill for the sunrise and get back to Ghorepani to trek to Tadapani. Go to Chomrong to Dobhan to Deurali and to the famous Machhapucchhre Base Camp or the MBC. From the Machhapucchhre Base Camp, you will trek to the Annapurna Base Camp and then trek to Bamboo and then to Jhinu Danda. You can enjoy the hot spring here and move forward to Ghandruk. Reach Nayapul and finally drive back to Pokhara.
Some important facts about the Annapurna Base Camp Trek
1. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a grade B trek so it can be easily taken up by a fit individual. This moderately difficult trek does not require a special fitness level.
2. You will need two trekking permits to trek the Annapurna Base Camp Trek---Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) card and Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card.
