CAR/TRUCK SEATBELTS:

                                  Seat belts are available for most makes and models in a good variety of colors and configurations. Different types of seat belts include:

Lap Belts: Fitted in many vehicles in the center rear position. (In most cases these can be changed for a Lap / Diagonal but are not cheap or can be used in conjunction with a Child Harness.)

Static: These are the older style which are fixed and do not roll away.

Retractable: Common type of seatbelt fitted to most vehicles which retracts back when not in use.

CHILD SAFETY HARNESS:

                                               A child harness stops a child’s body from being thrown forward in a crash, helping avoid head, spinal and abdominal injuries. Harnesses are suitable for children weighing up to 36kg, and can be used in conjunction with booster seats until a child weighs 36 kg and on their own after that. The harness must be correctly installed in your vehicle and adjusted properly to fit your child.

MOTOR HOME SEAT BELTS:

                                                  A motor home manufactured on or after 1 October 2003, and a motor vehicle converted into a motorhome on or after 1 October 2003 has to comply with new regulations regarding seat belts.

MACHINERY SEATBELTS:

                                         Types of Heavy Machinery Belts: Most of these type of belts are 3″ (76mm) to comply with OSH requirements.
