Malaysia e-Invoice Guidelines for Businesses
Malaysia’s e-Invoice system helps businesses report transactions accurately through LHDN’s MyInvois platform. Having the right e-invoice information is important for understanding the latest rules and avoiding compliance issues.
Is E-Invoice Mandatory in Malaysia?
Whether an e-invoice mandatory requirement applies depends on the company’s annual revenue and business structure. Businesses with annual sales or revenue of RM3 million or more are generally covered under mandatory e-invoicing.
The e-invoicing process includes creating an invoice, submitting its data to MyInvois and receiving validation from LHDN. Once approved, the invoice receives a unique identification number and QR code.
